Leading a company of passionate open source and agile and lean software development experts who provide unbiased, honest arbiter advice across a wide and varied selection of open source technologies and agile processes and practices. Russ is a well known speaker and can be found at the most prestigious technology conferences around the globe. 

Before forming OpenCredo, Russ was one of the team of consultants at SpringSource where he was instrumental in delivering high profile client’s business critical applications and contributing to the success of a number of SpringSource projects. He is also a keen contributor to open source projects as well as being a prolific author of technology books including; "AspectJ Cookbook", "Learning UML 2.0" and "Head First Software Development".

Aleksa Vukotic

Senior Consultant

Data Management Practice lead and Principal Consultant at Open Credo, Aleksa is a keen lean and agile advocate, author, trainer, software architect and developer, with wide experience of leading roles in the successful delivery of business critical software projects. 

In addition to his Java EE expertise, Aleksa is often utilising his outstanding problem solving skills to tackle the most complex problems arising within the projects. More recently, the focus of Aleksa's technology interest has been the application of NoSQL storage solutions for solving complex data problems. 

The combination of high-level management skills and outstanding technical knowledge has make Aleksa invaluable when software teams needed to be motivated to bring the best out the themselves and make rapid progress toward successful project delivery. 

Aleksa has authored the technology books 'Pro Spring 2.5' and 'Apache Tomcat 7' as well as articles for the Open Source Journal.

Tareq Abedrabbo

Principal Consultant

Tareq is principal consultant architect at OpenCredo, he is a pragmatic, hands-on leader with a strong interest in areas such as programming languages, NoSql persistence engines and PaaS.

 He has extensive experience with the Spring stack and is a committer on the Spring Web Services project. Tareq is also the co-author of 'Programming Spring' and 'Spring in a Nutshell'.

Tareq has been delivering innovative solutions based on a variety of modern technologies and platforms, most recently Scala and Cloud Foundry.

Tristan McCarthy

Testing Specialist

Tristan has a wide experience of ensuring the delivery of high quality, usable software. He is used to working in agile environments alongside skilled developers to produce enterprise level and business critical software offerings. 

As a strong believer in cross-skilled agile teams, he is constantly seeking to extend the remit of a tester beyond the traditional role. Embracing any methodologies which support this viewpoint, he has become a keen advocate of BDD to ensure that verifying software quality is more than just checking applications against a specification.

With his interest in new testing tools and techniques he has built up expertise across a wide range of technologies, which he shares across the organisation in his role as testing practice lead. Particular focus is given to BDD tooling, web and desktop automation tools and the creation of custom testing frameworks.
